This image is squares and other shapes drawn in one-point perspective with a horizon line and orthogonal lines that connect at a vanishing point attached to the horizon line. The media I used for this piece is pencil. One new skill I used in this assignment was the concept of orthogonal lines, and drawing shapes so that they were created in relation to a vanishing point. The main art elements that appear in this drawing is line, value, and shape. The value is used so that the shapes that appear closer are darker, and the orthogonal lines are drawn in a lighter shade than the other lines. Lines are used to create the shapes, and shape is used to create dimension and perspective with the horizon line and vanishing point.
